MBBS Admission in India
India has a good number of government and private universities/colleges where students can fulfill their dream of becoming a doctor by pursuing their medical courses such as AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore , National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences, Bangalore and Many Other. Eventhough there are new alternate Medical Courses available, still Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is considered one of the most preferred professional courses across India.
India MBBS Admission Procedure
The admissions in the medial colleges and universities of India are offered only through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). Through NEET and based on the eligibility score, one can get admission to medical courses in any medical college across India.
Indian Medical Entrance Exams
NTA – National Testing Agency in India conducts the NEET entrance exam for offering admission in medical courses. Based on NEET Score Card, Students are offered admission in MBBS programmes. After the introduction of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) by the Indian Government, the scope for national level exams conducted by various individual universities on state and national level is largely reduced and currently stands nill. For example, AIIMS and JIPMER national level exams.
